Thulisile Dlamini, Founder and CEO of Ikusasa Technology Solutions, says that they provide Information Communication and Technology Solutions accredited with various technology companies like Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, IBM, Microsoft, CompTIA and MICT SETA (Media Information Communication and Technology Sector Education Training Authority).
The challenge that they aim to address is bridging the skill gap and increasing employment opportunities.
Thuli started her business so that she could make a difference, inspire change and make money. What she loves most about running her business is helping to change people’s lives for the better.
What she has learnt over time is that business is a journey and that it has to be driven by passion before money. She believes that without passion, she would not be where she is today.
When asked why she does what she does, she said that she hopes to be an instrument of change. When times get tough she focuses on small successes that help motivate her to move forward and tell a story.
Thuli encourages South Africa to support small businesses because she believes that they are the biggest employers combined. She says that most small business owners have directly or indirectly felt the effects of unemployment and have identified the opportunities that would address challenges and create employment.
