Absolute Credit Control Services – contributing positively to the success of businesses

In this interview we find out more about Ansie Fourie (Owner & Director of Absolute Credit Control Services), her business journey and why she believes South Africa should support small business.

Ansie shares how Absolute Credit Control Services provides solutions in the accounts receivable department. They provide outsourced services for debt collection and credit control full functions. She says that their consulting services to businesses are to perform a health check on accounts receivable processes and strategies, credit risks and compliance (in the form of credit policies, credit contracts and monthly cycle processes) and to provide solutions to improve their working capital.  They also provide industry specific recruitment services for the placement of skilled credit staff in line with their customers’ requirements.

Why did you start your business?

I started my business to make a difference in the credit control / accounts receivable sector and to build up a soaring business that provides a vast variety of opportunities for people in the industry.

What do you love the most about running your business?

I love the satisfaction of the value we add to a business reaching success because of our services.

What is one of the biggest lessons you have learnt on your business journey?

I have learnt that a business cannot be run alone. You need people with various expertise in a business to contribute to the growth process of the company.

Why do you do what you do and what do you focus on to help you persevere and get through tough times?

I do what I do to contribute positively to the success of businesses by improving that all important working capital that drives profitability.

Why should South Africa support small businesses now and beyond?

Small businesses struggle to get noticed amongst the large corporations.  With the unemployment rate being high in South Africa, the growth of small businesses provides opportunities for people to be employed to work on their own growth in their jobs and careers, leading to improved communities. A growing GDP, ultimately, grows the country.

What impact has being a member of the NSBC had on your business?

I have only been a member of the NSBC for a year, but have found the webinars to be very informative. It has been a positive experience to be introduced to the NSBC networking platform, which is user friendly and makes it easy to start conversations with other like-minded business owners or representatives.  We look forward to making use of the opportunity to showcase our business at the Business Show later this year and believe that the exposure will be very beneficial to our business in adding value to our current and potential customers’ businesses.

Absolute Credit Control Services is a proud Member of the NSBC
