NSBC gives thanks to Hot 91.9FM for their continued support in the development of SME’s in South Africa

May 8, 2020 Press Releases

Mike Anderson, the founder, and CEO of NSBC Africa (National Small Business Chamber Africa) which is Africa’s leading small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs) organisation recently expressed his gratitude to Hot 91.9FM with regard to the NSBC’s association with the station.

For the fourth year in a row Joburg`s hottest station Hot 91.9FM, has scooped the prestigious Station of the Year award at the 2020 South African Radio Awards on Friday, 17 April. This is a landmark achievement considering the station has won this award every year since 2017. A feat which has not gone unnoticed by Hot91.9FM clients.

Mike Anderson said: “The NSBC team and I are extremely proud of being so closely associated with Hot 91.9FM and the mercurial, passionate and committed team behind the station. Over the years I have closely witnessed your growth and powerful entrenchment into the consumer and business sector and of course your overwhelming support and dedication to the many thousands of small and medium-sized businesses that are the driving force of our nation.” He added, “There is no doubt that you have made a positive and meaningful impact on thousands of businesses, not only in the greater Joburg area but also throughout South Africa and the global arena”.

NSBC and Hot 91.9FM have worked together on many projects and have now partnered in support of The COVID-19 Small Business Relief Centre in which Mike conveyed its huge success. “Without Hot 91.9FM we would never have been able to assist the thousands of small businesses so desperately in need and with the station’s help, NSBC’s webinar series has attracted up to 5000 people wanting to enter the webinar room”.

Mike Anderson concludes his testimony with much appreciation for the station; “I have been an outspoken ambassador of Hot 91.9FM for years and will continue to be so, your community efforts are simply unmatched.”

Lloyd Madurai, managing director of Hot 91.9FM says, “ Hot 91.9FM is deeply passionate about the development of SME`s, particularly those that are community based as we believe that they are the engine room that drives our economy. “ We , as Joburg`s Hottest station, are committed to supporting NSBC`s initiative.”

Proudly brought to you by the NSBC
