They have a passion for innovation and the sciences. They are actively pushing the frontiers on Industry 4.0 methodologies and driving innovation within this sector.
They love the novelty of the business. There is freedom to explore many different solutions and to find those that are successful.
One of the lessons they have learnt in their business journey so far is to critically consider the broad effects that their decisions have on the six capitals and to ensure that every decision seeks to foster sustainability and provide a solid foundation to lead with purpose, and promote strong relationships.
Their why is to make a sustainable difference. And when things get tough, their faith, past successes, and the impact they have on people’s lives gets them through those times.
When asked why South Africans should support small business, this is what Scibtron had to say: “South Africa is a country filled with capable individuals in business that are able to innovate and to create value that is of a world-class quality. By supporting local business, not only do we support our economy, but communities benefit and society prospers. Considering this “butterfly effect”, to support (small) business in South Africa is ultimately to create a better South Africa for everyone’s benefit – we can succeed, we must succeed, we will succeed.”
