Top tips on how to save on your taxes

May 30, 2018 Radio Interviews

Bunny Majaja from HOT 91.9 FM (NSBC Media Partner) interviews Adv. Carien van Dijk from The Supremacy Group.

Carien and Bunny discuss simple, yet highly effective, ways small businesses can reduce their taxes. They look at the importance of structuring a business correctly (e.g. a sole proprietorship vs a private company) and how this affects the amount of tax paid. She also touches on VAT and what a business should do to not put themselves under unnecessary pressure when these payments are due.

Carien advises that doing something as simple as your admin correctly can result in big tax and VAT savings for you personally and for your business.

Lastly, she announces an exciting partnership with the NSBC to provide online training for Payroll, Tax, Accounting, Labour etc. all aimed at empowering small businesses with the skills needed to execute these key elements themselves, or the knowledge to ask the right questions to whom this work is outsourced.
